When Michael works with you, his goal is to not only help you find or sell property, but to create a client for life.
He forges strong relationships and wins long-term clients because he spends time educating them on the market, as well as Brookings and the surrounding areas and the steps required to make your transaction a success. Michael offers unparalleled support, knowledge, resources and connections that give his clients a very unique advantage. His intuition and perceptive nature enable him to develop a deep understanding of his clients’ needs and desires. These innate skills, combined with his strong market knowledge, tough negotiation skills, honesty, and sense of humor have been integral in Michael’s success. His research is thorough, and he will spend as much time as necessary working with clients who are new to real estate buying, so they are comfortable and able to make sense of what can be an overwhelming process. He has a strong understanding of his fiduciary responsibility and always puts the client’s best interests first. As an experienced strategist & negotiator, you can rely on him to maximize the sale price of your property if you are selling, or offer you the best possible guidance on an offer price if you are buying.
Originally from Newbury Park, California, Michael has been married twenty-nine years to his wife Jill with whom he shares two daughters and a grand-daughter. He is a U.S. Navy veteran with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing as a business owner, entrepreneur, and contractor. Before becoming an Oregon licensed broker, he was employed by international corporations Wilson Sporting Goods and Fastenal. His extensive success in marketing and sales stems from his perspective towards his clientele and, in that light, success as a broker comes naturally to Michael.
When asked why he loves real estate, Michael remarks, “I enjoy listening to my clients and the opportunity to provide them with the best possible service; because, at the end of the day, that’s all that matters — understanding their desires and bringing them to fruition.”
